Saving Components to Your Library

Save components you love to reuse them across your site or in future projects. Here's how to build your personal component library.

Why Save Components?

  • Reusability - Use the same component on multiple pages
  • Consistency - Maintain design consistency across your site
  • Efficiency - Don't recreate components from scratch
  • Portability - Use saved components in other projects

How to Save a Component

From the Component Menu

  • Click on the component you want to save
  • Click the menu icon (three dots)
  • Select "Save to My Components"
  • Enter a name for your component
  • Optionally add a description
  • Click Save
  • From AI Components

    After generating an AI component:

  • Click the component's menu
  • Select "Save to My Components"
  • Fill in the details
  • Your AI creation is now saved for reuse
  • Organizing Your Components

    Naming Conventions

    Use clear, descriptive names:

    • ✅ "Blue Hero with CTA Buttons"
    • ✅ "Testimonial Grid - 3 Column"
    • ❌ "Component 1"
    • ❌ "New Component"

    Descriptions

    Add descriptions to remember:

    • What the component is for
    • Where it works best
    • Any customization notes

    Using Saved Components

    Accessing Your Library

  • Click "+" to add a new block
  • Select Components
  • Click "My Components" tab
  • Browse your saved components
  • Adding to a Page

  • Find the component you want
  • Click to add it to your page
  • Customize as needed
  • Managing Your Library

    Updating Components

    If you improve a component:

  • Make your changes
  • Save as a new component, or
  • Update the existing one from the menu
  • Deleting Components

    To remove a saved component:

  • Go to your component library
  • Find the component
  • Click the delete option
  • Note: Deleting from your library doesn't affect instances already on your pages.

    Tips for a Great Library

  • Be selective - Only save components you'll actually reuse
  • Keep it organized - Use clear naming conventions
  • Version your saves - Save variations with descriptive names
  • Review regularly - Remove outdated components
