Creating a New Site

Getting started with Framekit is quick and easy. You have two options when creating a new site: start from scratch or use a pre-built template.

Starting from Scratch

From your dashboard, click the "New Site" button

Select "Start from scratch" in the modal that appears

You'll be taken to a blank canvas where you can build your site exactly how you want it

Starting from scratch gives you complete creative freedom. You can add components, use AI to generate custom sections, and build your site piece by piece.

Using a Template

From your dashboard, click the "New Site" button

Select "Select a template" in the modal

Browse through our collection of professionally designed templates

Click on a template to preview it

Click "Use Template" to create your site with that design

Templates are fully customizable - you can modify any section, change colors, swap components, and make it your own.

After Creating Your Site

Once your site is created, you'll be taken to the editor where you can:

• Add and arrange content blocks
• Customize your hero section and footer
• Set up your navigation pages
• Configure site settings like title, description, and icon
• Preview your site on different devices (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile)

Your changes are saved automatically, and you can use the undo feature if you make a mistake.
