Receiving Form Submission Notifications
Good news! Framekit automatically sends you an email notification whenever someone submits a form on your site.
How It Works
When someone fills out any form on your published site:
No setup required – it's automatic!
What the Email Looks Like
When you receive a form submission notification, you'll get:
Email Subject
"New [Form Name] Submission - [Your Site Name]"
Email Contents
- Site name at the top
- Form name that was submitted
- Submission date and time
- Submission ID for reference
- All form fields displayed in a clean table:
- Field names (like Name, Email, Message)
- The values the visitor entered
- "View All Submissions" button - links directly to your dashboard
The email is beautifully designed and easy to read on both desktop and mobile.
Who Receives Notifications?
Email notifications are sent to all admin users of the site.
- If you're the only admin, only you receive emails
- If you have team members added as admins, they receive emails too
- Notifications go to the email address associated with each admin's Framekit account
Where Notifications Are Sent
Notifications are sent to the email address you use to log into Framekit.
To change where you receive notifications:See the "Changing Your Account Email" article for detailed steps.
Viewing Submissions in Dashboard
In addition to email notifications, all submissions are stored in your dashboard:
- Form name
- Submission date/time
- All field values
- Reply button
Replying to Submissions
From both the email and dashboard, you can reply directly:
From Email
- Simply reply to the notification email if the submitter included their email
From Dashboard
- Submitter's email pre-filled
- Subject line ready
- Submission details in the body
